Super Pooper!!

Tonight you pooped on the potty!!!  I cried - seriously.  I was just so very proud of you!  This is a huge step, my little man!  You are growing up so fast!!!  I love you so much!

Big Boy Pants!

Today you decided that you wanted to wear underpants and you wouldn't be swayed.  I went ahead and put you in a pair and you STAYED DRY ALL DAY at school!!!!  You had a couple of accidents here at home, but I could NOT be more proud of you!!!  What a big day!  No more pull-ups for you!

Little Potty Man

I'm sure there's still a long road ahead of us for you using the potty, but I was SO impressed with you today!  We were shopping at the mall and you said "Mommy, I need to tinkle."  You have never said those words to me before so I even asked you if you were serious and you said yes.  I quickly asked a cashier where the nearest bathroom was and away we went.  I got you into a stall and helped you sit on the big potty and tinkle you did!!  You flushed the potty and washed your hands!  I am just SO SO proud of you!  Then when we got home, you tinkled on the potty again!  Oh My Goodness!!  :)  I hope we're onto something here, but no pressure.  Let's just see what happens.

Daddy just spun you around and around and set you down.  You flopped on the floor and said "Why spinning?"  Then you tried to stand up and said "What's happening????" as you wobbled around.  Poor thing!  We said "That is what dizzy feels like!"  :)

December Update

It's almost Christmas and you're so excited!  Daddy and I took a vacation and you stayed with Grandmom and Grandpop.  I can tell you were a little traumatized, but you are fine and I hope that you have learned that Mommy and Daddy go away now and again but we come back.  You've been fussy which is typical for your age, but tonight you were so good!  It was so refreshing to have a happy kid again!  We went out to dinner and you had shrimp for the first time and you had 4 of them!!  You kept eating them and asking for more!  At one point at dinner you got really still so I asked you if you were pooping.  You said "No!  I peeing!"  LOL!  Great!  You have also, over the last few days, started saying "Mommy, hold me!"  Instead of your usual "Mommy hold you!"  While it's great that you are learning to speak correctly - but I'll miss your little signature sentence!  I'll try to post something after Christmas.  We'll have family here from Cambodia so we'll  be a bit busy, but I'll try!  :)
